Healing the Mind and Body in Harmony with Nature’s Principles
About Ayurveda
Ayurveda is an individualized holistic health science originating from India. It does not merely treat symptoms, but treats the whole person and addresses the root causes of disease or imbalance. Ayurveda is utilized to maintain health, prevent disease, and help people heal from a wide variety of ailments, including but not limited to: digestive and metabolic conditions, women’s health issues, autoimmune conditions, muscular-skeletal conditions, skin conditions, and mental health issues.
Ayurvedic therapy customizes recommendations according to each individual’s unique constitution and current imbalance. Recommendations are given for diet, lifestyle, sleep, exercise, yoga, breath, and spiritual practices for balanced physical, mental and emotional health. Herbal supplements and formulations as well as more in depth cleansing treatments and bodywork are recommended when required.
Transformation and healing, even from chronic conditions, is possible through Ayurveda and yoga.
